Parents receive an invite email with a magic link - no password required. They simply click the link to log in. The portal is accessible at parent.crechehq.ie and works on any phone, tablet, or computer.
Can both parents have access?
Yes. Multiple guardians can be invited for each child. Primary guardians manage invoices and key details. Secondary guardians (grandparents, carers) can view daily updates only.
What updates do parents see?
Parents see all logged activities for their children: meals with amounts eaten, nap times and duration, nappy changes, activities, and any notes from staff. Updates appear in a timeline as they are logged.
Can parents see previous days?
Yes. Parents can navigate to previous days to track patterns, look back at special moments, or check if their child has been eating and sleeping well over time.
Is the parent portal secure?
Yes. Parents can only see their own children. Magic link authentication eliminates password vulnerabilities. All data is encrypted and GDPR compliant.
